The man pictured is Gordon
"Moon" Mullins seen wearing his uniform as an
Honorary Deputy Chief of the FDNY. He was one of the members
of the Fire Bell Club of New York which is presently located
at 204 East 23rd Street. He was employed for several years prior
to his death as a Fire Alarm Dispatcher in the Manhattan Central
Office of the FDNY and had badge number 11. The old Nash sedan
pictured in some of the photos carried has maltese plate (#13)
given to him when he was made an honorary chief officer (first
an honorary battalion chief and later promoted to honorary deputy
